Written violations were leveled against 10 travel and tourism offices for breaking regulations after being discovered under scrutiny, announced the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Al Qabas reported.
The Director of the Air Transport Department, Abdullah Al-Rajhi, said that within the framework of the efforts made by the administration and the air transport market sector to ensure companies and travel and tourism offices are committed to the laws, instructions and regulations issued by the DGCA, the department’s inspectors went on tours of the air transport officers in the country and had to issue violations against 10 tourism and travel offices.
Violations were referred to the Complaints and Arbitration Committee, to take the necessary measures towards these violations, in accordance with laws and regulations. Al-Rajhi stressed that there will be inspection tours at the travel and tourism offices to arrest violators and take strict measures against them, stressing that there will be no compromise in order to preserve the reputation of the tourism and travel market in Kuwait and respect the laws established for it.
