Delivery Bikes Banned On Highways From Oct 3rd

General Traffic Department ban delivery bikes from running on ring roads and highways as of October 3.

Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic and Operations Affairs, Major General Jamal Al-Sayegh, addressed the Federation of Delivery Companies and discussed various points related to delivery bikes on the roads.

Delivery bikes will be prevented from the following roads. First Ring Road, Fourth Ring Road, Fifth Ring Road, Sixth Ring Road, Seventh Ring Road, King Abdul Aziz Road 30., King Fahd Bin Abdulaziz Road 40., King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Road 50., Al-Ghazali Road 60., Jahra Road, Gamal Abdel Nasser Road (Upper Bridge) and Jaber Bridge. However they may use the intersections and roundabouts.

The delivery motorcyclists are also requested to abide by adding lights on the accessory box and placing reflective light strips behind the boxes of motorbikes in addition to wear helmet.
