Corona Vaccine From Belgium To Kuwait International Fair Grounds
While today the first batch of the new Corona virus vaccine arrived at Kuwait International Airport via Emirates Airlines, coming from Belgium, informed sources confirmed to "Al Qabas" that the shipment includes about 150,000 doses that will benefit 75,000 people, noting that there is an accelerated demand for The link provided by the Ministry of Health for those wishing to receive vaccinations.
The sources added that the shipment will benefit workers in the front lines, the elderly and people with special needs, indicating that the medical teams are ready to start the vaccination campaign against Corona.
The sources pointed out that the campaign will start within the next two days, not today, Wednesday, indicating that the logistics services are being completed in the hall designated for exhibition ground No. 5, such as some devices and printers, and it is likely to be completed within a short period.
She noted that care will be taken to ensure that there is no density among auditors and social distancing, and the absence of any queues, to ensure that health requirements are applied and that the virus is not transmitted.
The Ministry of Health announced that it had trained more than 400 employees on systems for dealing with the vaccine, information systems, infection prevention and workflow inside the halls.
The ministry stated in a press statement that the training was unified and through an electronic link via video conference technology in 4 locations and 5 theaters in the halls of the ministry.
