Cops Have Finally Arrested Five Thieves Including A Kuwaiti For Stealing Cars And Selling Parts
Police have finally arrested five thieves including a Kuwaiti, two bedoun and an Egyptian for stealing cars, dismantling parts and selling them, reports Al-Rai daily.
During interrogation the men are said to have admitted to stealing cars by using duplicate keys and carrying out several robberies. The daily said, intense investigations on the background of complaints filed by several people, police managed to pick the suspects up from the Hawalli governorate.
At first they tried to prove their innocence but soon admitted to stealing 27 cars 16 of which were still in their possession. They said most of the cars were stolen when their owners left the car in operation and went to buy something. Some of the cars stolen are old and belong to expatriates.
