Complete Your Biometric Fingerprint Immediately
The Ministry of Interior has issued a directive requiring all citizens and residents to undergo biometric fingerprint registration within a three-month period commencing March 1st. Effective from June 1st, 2024, all Ministry of Interior-related transactions will be suspended for individuals who have not completed the biometric fingerprint process.
The Ministry has ensured accessibility to the biometric fingerprint registration process for citizens, GCC citizens, and expatriates across the country's border crossings, Kuwait International Airport, and designated centers. Individuals can conveniently complete their biometric fingerprint registration upon arrival at various centers and commercial complexes.
These registration facilities are located at key security directorates, including Hawalli, Farwaniya, Al-Ahmadi, Mubarak Al-Kabeer, and Al-Jahra governorates for citizens and GCC citizens. Residents can avail themselves of registration services at the Personal Identification Department, with corporate fingerprinting available in the Ali Sabah Al-Salem and Jahra areas. Additionally, registration facilities are provided at prominent shopping malls such as the Avenues Mall, 360 Mall, Al-Kout Mall, Capital Mall, and the Ministries Complex.
Notably, travelers departing from Kuwait are exempt from immediate fingerprinting requirements, as their biometric data will be captured upon their return to the country. This measure aims to streamline the registration process for outbound travelers while ensuring compliance upon reentry.
