Company Punished For Tampering With Food Expiry Dates

A food company has been punished for tampering with expiration dates, according to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

The Al-Jarida daily has learned that the company based in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area committed commercial fraud by extending the expiry dates of foodstuffs which directly affects the health of consumers.

Detection of the violation was made by the Commercial Control Emergency Team. Legal procedures are being completed against the violators.
