Coast Guard Warns Seafarers To Stay Away From Live Ammunition Tests

The General Administration of Security Relations and Media of the Ministry of Interior has announced that the Coast Guard will conduct shooting exercises today and tomorrow with live ammunition on Boubyan Island and Failaka Island, extending to Ouha Island, as part of the institution’s strategy to enhance its proficiency and elevate its performance.

The administration has issued a cautionary notice to all seafarers, urging them to refrain from approaching the designated training area during this time. As part of the administration's commitment to safety, marine patrols will be vigilant in preventing unauthorized access to the site.
