Carabiniere Italian Frigate Docks In Shuwaik Port

Italian frigate the (Carabiniere) docked at Shuwaik Port late Wednesday as part of its tour to the GCC and Southeast Asia regions as well as Australia. Speaking at the reception of the vessel, Italian Ambassador to Kuwait Giuseppe Scognamiglio affirmed that the arrival of the Carabiniere reflected the strong strategic ties linking Kuwait and Italy.

On his part, the frigate's Commander Francesco Pagnotta lauded the cooperation between the Kuwaiti and Italian navies, saying that it was important to exchange visits and expertize to further enhance ties.
