Campaign Targeting Marginal Workers To Continue; 45 Workers Arrested From Tailoring Shop

In a continuous campaign to arrest all law violators, especially the marginal workers, the Joint committee, in a crackdown on one of the ladies dress tailoring units in Farwaniya, arrested 45 workers for violating the labour law. According to the report, 28 were on domestic visas and 17 workers from Article 18 of different sponsors.

The inspection committee includes officials from the Public Authority for Manpower, the Ministry of Interior represented by Public Security, the Ministry of Commerce, and the Kuwait Municipality.

The committee has taken the necessary measures against the violating workers in accordance with the labour and residence laws, and the law violators will be deported from the country.

A similar campaign will continue across the country to regulate the labour market and eliminate the law violating marginal workers.
