Bukheit Bags Al-marzouq Cup Title

Several horse races for various cup titles were held over the weekend. In the late Khaled Al-Marzouq Cup, the horse ‘Dharuri’ from Suruur Stable clinched the first place in the 1,600 meters race, followed in second place by the horse ‘Bukheit’ (Daiya Stable) and the third place went to ‘Sharq’ (Marikhe Stable). Marzouq Khaled Al-Marzouq, representative of the late Khaled Al-Marzouq’s family, presenting the title cup to the winning stable.

In the Al-Anba Newspaper Cup, the horse ‘Ghosh’ (Daiya Stable) won the 1,200 meters race, followed in second place by ‘Thuraya’ (Abu Shaiba Stable) and the third place went to ‘Laheeq’ (Fanar Stable). In the 1,000 meters race, the horse ‘Zain flash’ (Safeer Stable) came first, followed closely by ‘Ezzullah’ (Mulla Stable) in second place and in third place was ‘Barraq’ (Daiya Stable).

In the 1,800 meters race, the horse ‘Tawfeeq’ (Daiya Stable) won the two rounds race; whereas the horse ‘Bahees’ (Daiya Stable) won in the 1,400 meters race.
