Bmw And Holiday Inn Teams Completed Their First Group Stage Qualification Matches
BMW and Holiday Inn teams completed their first group stage qualification matches by gaining full points, whereas Just Clean joined the list of qualifiers in the 39th edition of the Late Abdullah Mishari Al-Roudan Football Tournament (Futsal).
In the first match, Holiday Inn denied its opponent, the West Gulf Real Estate Company, the pass to continue to the next stage by three goals to two. The match was full of excitement and thrill as West Gulf opened the score sheet through Holland’s Najeeb Al-Aloush and Belgium’s Kareem Bali. However, Holiday Inn returned strongly into the game by equalizing the goals through Abdullah Al-Shamali.
The third goal came through Abdullah Hamad who gave his team the third consecutive win in the tournament. The second match saw Just Clean winning its third match with sweeping seven goals against Martyr Fahd Al-Ahmad Team which scored a consolation goal although it did not stop them from exiting the tournament without any point. In the third match, BMW achieved an easy victory against Masami Sushi by six goals to one. The first three goals were scored by Italy’s Patshino, the fourth by his compatriot Stokardi, while the fifth and sixth goals by Abdul-Aziz Al-Hajiri and Abdul- Rahman Al-Misbahi.
The consolation goal for Sushi was scored by Nawaf Al-Fawzan. The group stage matches continue today with every team aiming to win in order to secure their places in the second qualification stage. UAE’s Al- Nasr will face Refrigeration Industries on the 16th day of the tournament. Kuwait Credit Bank will play it out with Mani Group, and the last match will be between the Late Abdullah Al-Medlij with Boubyan Bank teams. In the amateur category, Tamouh Club defeated Victoria by three goals to zero.
This win gave Tamouh an appointment to meet Jahra (A) in the quarter-finals of the second group after Jahra Stars defeated Kazma (A) by a goal to zero. Two matches are scheduled for today – the first will be between Super Hatrick and Hassan Abul Center, and the second will be between Saden Academy and Kuwait Club.
