Bid To Find Solution To Traffic Rush

Municipal Council Deputy Chairman Abdul-Aziz Al-Mihree and council member Mishael Al-Hamdhan accompanied by the Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic and Operations in the Ministry of Interior Major General Jamal Al-Sayegh conducted an aerial tour to monitor the traffic flow on several major roads in the Capital and its surroundings. The aerial tour was aimed at pinpointing areas of deep traffic congestion in order to find a suitable practical solution through stipulation of necessary regulations by the municipal council.

In a statement, Al-Mihree mentioned that the municipal council has a major interest in traffic issue in the sense that it fully cooperates in stipulating regulations that serve the situation, which he stressed, needs a comprehensive plan to remedy. “This can only be achieved through proper planning of the cities and development of the main road network of the country, as well as the road entrances and exits in various areas, which needs collective effort from relevant institutions to achieve”.
