Bedoun Held With Drugs, Ammunition And Cash

The Criminal Security Sector of the Ministry of Interior has arrested a bedoun with 10 kilos of hashish, psychotropic substances and bullets, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, the arrest came after the Jahra Governorate Investigation Department received a tip-off that an illegal resident was trafficking in drugs.

The administration added immediately a search team was formed from the Sulaibiya Investigations Office, and after collecting evidence and verifying the accuracy of the information, the securitymen got permission from the Public Prosecution and seized the man in possession of the drugs and ammunition, including a sensitive balance and 18,525 dinars in cash believed to be proceeds from the sale of narcotics. The sources said the suspect and the contraband have been referred to the General Department of Drugs and Alcohol Control (GDDAC)
