In a horrifying scene, an Bangladeshi motorist sustained first degree burns and later died when a 29-year old retarded citizen set fire to his family house in Abdullah Mubarak region.
The perpetrator was arrested and referred to the Public Prosecution. A security source said the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior received news about a car and a house in flames in the aforementioned area and dispatched a team of security men, paramedics and firemen to the scene.
Fire sources explained that the fire started in a room next to the house, noting the 29-year-old citizen had deliberately started the fire, because he burnt his family house on several occasions. They indicated firemen were able to control and extinguish the fire.
