An Indian Expat Assaulted

An unknown person disguised as a security operative assaulted an Indian expatriate when the latter resisted his attempt to steal his wallet in Fahaheel area. The suspect is said to have tore the clothes of the Indian in his struggle to steal the wallet, says Al-Seyassah. Apparently, the victim was driving in the area when the suspect disguised as a security operative waved him down for checking. The suspect tried to snatch the wallet while the victim was trying to show his civil ID, and assaulted him for resisting. He fled the scene afterward. Meanwhile, an unknown person stole the mobile of an Asian expatriate in Jleeb Shuyoukh while he was walking to his accommodation. A case was registered.
