Al-Zour Refinery Maritime Caution Is Urged By Kuwait

As part of its official “X” account (formerly known as Twitter), Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company has issued an appeal to seafarers and fishing boats this Sunday morning, urging them to avoid approaching the artificial island housing the Al-Zour Refinery, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

It emphasizes the importance of keeping a safe distance from the refinery, emphasizing that the presence of fishing boats near the refinery could disrupt tanker and transport boat movements. It explained that such disturbances could negatively impact the efficiency and operations of foreign exports associated with the refinery.

Kuwait's petroleum infrastructure depends on Al-Zour Refinery, a vital component of which is this appeal. Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company wants to prevent any unintended disruptions to the refinery's crucial role in the country's oil and gas industry by encouraging seafarers and fishing boats to stay away from the designated area.
