Aijaz Ahmad Sarfaraz, An Indian Businessman, Passed Away In Kuwait

Aijaz Ahmad Sarfaraz, a prominent Indian businessman and the Managing Director of Sahara Air Conditioning Company, died in Kuwait on Wednesday morning at Sabah Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Shagufta Qidwai, and children Nidal Ahmad and Bilal Ahmad, all of whom are from Lucknow.

Sahara Air Conditioning Company, founded by Aijaz Ahmad, has been providing air conditioning services in Kuwait for over 20 years. The company employs around 1000 people, the bulk of them are Indian.

Mr. Aijaz Ahmad Sarfaraz is a philanthropist and a successful businessman. In India, he is also a patron of a number of educational institutions and trusts. In India, he established the Sarfaraz & Qidwai Educational Foundation, which runs an education center that provides free education to underprivileged children in one of his adopted villages near Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh.

Aijaz was an outspoken supporter of the Indian community, participating in numerous charity activities to help the community. He was in attendance at the UP NRI Forum's blood donation campaign last month.
