A Total Of 1,842 Traffic Accidents Were Reported In One Week

Within a week, 1,842 traffic accidents occurred on Kuwait roads, according to the traffic department. About 257 accidents cause injuries to human beings while the rest of them are limited to material damage.

From 24 to 30 of September, the traffic department issued about 26,173 violations. During the period, authorities seized 32 juveniles for driving vehicles without driving licenses, seized 43 vehicles and 79 bicycles for violations and referred 44 violators to the Traffic Detention Center for committing Serious offences. 18 wanted persons were also arrested during the week in various traffic campaigns.

Citizens and residents are encouraged to obey traffic rules and stay alert while driving, according to the General Directorate of Traffic.
