980 Cartons Of Cargo Containing Alcohol, Beer And Cigarettes Seized

Vigilant Customs officers from the Shuwaikh Port have seized 980 cartons of cargo containing alcohol, beer and cigarettes, reports Al-Anba daily.

The cargo arrived at the Shuwaikh Port from China said to have been exported by an unidentified company. It has been reliably learned that the customs officers subject shipments from China to strict inspection and use sophisticated equipment.

The latest shipment contained 15,000 bottles of alcohol, 600 cans of beer and 1,000 cigarettes of banned brand. The contraband has been sent to competent authorities to take the necessary measures
