729 Unauthorized Camps Are Removed By Kuwait Municipality
Inspection teams from Kuwait Municipality's General Cleanliness and Road Occupancy Departments have intensified their inspection tours of the governorates Al-Jahra and Al-Ahmadi to locate camps set up before the official camping season, which begins three months from now, has begun.
According to the head of the Committee for the Study and Update of Spring Campsites, the relevant supervisory teams will not tolerate any camp set up before the official camping period of three months has passed.
Mohammed Al-Jubaa, Director of the General Cleanliness and Road Occupancy Department in Al-jahra Governorate, revealed that during their recent inspections over the past three weeks, 382 unauthorized camps had been removed, along with 50 mobile caravans impounded in Subiya, Kabd, near the Radio Station, Jahra, and Mutaala.
According to Nawaf Al-Mutairi, Director of the General Cleanliness and Road Occupancy Department at Al-Ahmadi Governorate, 347 unauthorized camps have been removed in the governorate over the past three weeks, including Kabd, near the Camel Club, Sabah Al-Salem, Sha’ibah, Wafra, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, and Al-Ahmadi.
Citizens who are interested in camping in this year's camping season should not set up their camps before the official period determined by the Municipality, which begins on November 15, 2023, and ends on March 15, 2024. Any camps set up before the specified period will be removed by the inspection teams, who encourage everyone to follow the regulations and conditions for setting up spring camps.
