6 Arrested With Drugs And Kd 3610
Farwaniya securitymen during patrolling the area arrested of 6 people 3 Egyptians in possession of drugs and KD 3610 in Khaitan. A Citizen with 82 bottles of imported liquor. While patrolling the area in compliance with the directive of acting Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs in the Interior Ministry Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah, the securitymen got suspicious upon noticing the erratic movement of a vehicle.
They signaled for the driver — a Kuwaiti — to pull over for routine inspection. However, the suspect sped off so the officers chased him until he was arrested. When the officers checked the vehicle, they found several sealed cartons which contained 82 bottles of imported alcoholic drinks.
During interrogation, the Kuwaiti admitted to selling alcohol, hence, he was referred to the General Criminal Investigation Department. In another incident, Ahmadi securitymen arrested another Kuwaiti in Mahboula for the possession of three bottles of imported liquor.
Sri Lankan and Indian arrested in possession of 98 bottles of locally manufactured liquor in Jleeb. They were referred to the concerned security department.
