32 Companies Held For Violating Work Ban
The official spokesperson, Director of Public Relations at the Public Authority for Manpower, Aseel Al-Mazyad, revealed in a statement to Al-Anb daily that teams carried out an inspection tour of 27 work sites from 7 to 11 June, and discovered that led to violations registered against 32 companies, and a re-inspection of a violation on one site for forcing workers to continue work during the worker ban.
Report any workers on a work site at the time of the ban from 11 am to 4 pm on the number 99444800 via WhatsApp.
The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) announced the start of a ban in June on working outdoors in open areas during the hours from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm.daily until the end of August.
The decision aims to protect labor from the extreme heat of the weather during this period, as working in these areas during this period of the year is difficult due to harsh climatic conditions, according to which it is difficult to perform work in normal working hours.
The implementation of this decision during the past years has received the approval of many companies in many sectors, in addition to that it took into account the public interest and is consistent with Kuwait’s obligations to implement international labor standards in the afternoon.
