3 Indian Employees Arrested For Offensive Tweets Against Muslims

Three Indian employees of an oil company were arrested by security authorities for posting tweets on their Twitter accounts that were deemed offensive to religious sentiments in the country, reported Al-Seyassah daily.

The three suspects were referred to the concerned authorities where necessary legal action will be taken against them. Security authorities monitor social media accounts in Kuwait, and arrest people caught for various cybercrimes, be it those who make offensive statements against a religion on social media or spread fake news.
