24 Imprisoned For Violating Traffic Laws

The Traffic Court has issued several verdicts against reckless motorists and violators of traffic laws during the past three months from July until the end of September

The Al-Qabas daily said the violators were arrested by traffic patrols in the six governorates, and referred to the court by the Traffic Violations Investigation Department.

According to court sources the violators have been sentenced to various prison terms.

In addition, the General Traffic Department, in cooperation with other government agencies, organized an extensive traffic campaign in the Sharq region, which resulted in the issuance of 376 traffic citations, including for tinting vehicle glasses, making annoying sounds and changing the color of the vehicle without permission.
