23 Arrested For Driving Without License

23 Juveniles arrested for driving a vehicle without a license during a country wide traffic campaign yesterday, Monday, evening. The General Administration of Public Relations and Media Security at the Ministry of Interior stated that they were referred to the competent authorities to take legal measures against them and impound the vehicles.

The campaign also resulted in the arrest of 4 persons wanted for criminal cases, 13 arrested for absconding cases, 1 person for drug related crime, 12 persons arrested for expired residency, 3 for suspected of an abnormal situation and a person for entering the country illegally, 13 people without identification documents. Six vehicles also were seized during the campaign.

A total of 199 violations were issued Monday evening campaign for various traffic violations.

Similar campaign will be conducted in all parts of the country to arrest the law violators, authorities informed.
