192,000 Passengers Predicted At Kuwait Airport During New Year's Holiday
According to the General Administration of Civil Aviation on Thursday, Kuwait International Airport is expected to receive 192,000 passengers between December 28 and January 1, both arriving and departing during the New Year holiday period.
During this New Year holiday, Abdullah Al-Rajhi, Director of the Air Transport Department and spokesperson for Civil Aviation, informed Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that passenger traffic has increased by 13 percent from last year when it stood at 178,000 passengers.
According to Al-Rajhi, the expected aircraft movement during this time frame will reach 1,780 flights, marking an increase of several hundred flights from last year's 1,300 flights. Among the top travel destinations experiencing heightened demand are Dubai, Cairo, Jeddah, Istanbul, and Doha.
Al-Rajhi assured that all entities operating at Kuwait International Airport are well-prepared to offer facilities and cooperation for both travelers and airlines, in order to guarantee their utmost satisfaction.
