16 New Commercial Activities Created By A Ministerial Decision

A ministerial decision to create 16 activities and add them to the commercial sector was made by Fahd Al-Shariaan, the minister of commerce and industry and the minister of social affairs and community development. According to a local Arabic daily, the resolution No. 10 of 2022's first article specifies 16 activities that may be added to the commercial sector within the parameters of the unified guide for defining economic activities in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

Publishing and distribution, distribution of motion pictures, managing and operating audio-visual studios, radio broadcasting services, publishing daily and periodicals, covered and open movie theatres, retailing of plastic and paper goods, resorts, study and research centres, real estate consulting, maintenance of used liquefied gas cylinders, and distribution of cylinders from manufacturers are among the new activities.
