154 Juveniles Arrested For Driving Without License

The traffic campaign last week from 13th of this month to 19th of this month resulted in arresting 154 juveniles for driving vehicles without a driver’s license.

The campaigns also resulted in issuing 23,552 traffic violations and referred 149 vehicles to the detention garage. 62 violators were referred to the traffic police on the grounds of committing grave violations.

Earlier the authorities informed that 1,808 juveniles were arrested, including teenagers between the ages of 13 and 16, for driving vehicles without driving license during the last 10 month.

The increase in number of juveniles driving on the road is a serious concern, authorities said.
