Statistics Released That 2,600 Thefts Reported

Statistics released by the Ministry of Interior for 2016 shows that total number of reported thefts during the year were 2,600, and that 1,462 of them were felonies and 1,138 misdemeanors, equivalent to 7 crimes per day, reports Al- Qabas daily.

The statistics also show the theft of vehicles, shop breakins and houses is the most common type of crime. The statistics added the thefts have become widespread in recent times. Most common are car break-ins parked in front of Kuwait homes, residential areas and market markets and workplaces.
