A Kuwaiti youth and his 20-year old Kuwaiti girlfriend were arrested in Salmiya area in possession of three Captagon pills, reports Al-Shahed daily. Hawally securitymen were patrolling Arabian Gulf Street when they suspected a vehicle with two occupants and followed it until it stopped in front of a café in Salmiya area. They asked the motorist for his driving license and car registration document, discovering that he is a Kuwaiti citizen. When they noticed a young girl in the car, they enquired about her and the youth said the girl is his cousin. Securitymen checked her details to discover she is a 20 year-old Kuwaiti citizen who was reported as absconding. She denied that she was in a relationship with the youth. When they asked her to step out of the vehicle, they noticed three Captagon pills on her seat. The suspects were arrested and referred to concerned authorities for necessary legal measures.
