Worker Survives Shaft Fall

The Public Relations and Information Department of the Directorate-General of Fire Department (DGFD) stated an unidentified Asian worker who fell from the top of an elevator room in a building under construction in Abu Halifa was rescued and handed over to the personnel from the Emergency Medical Services affiliated to the Ministry of Health, reports Al-Seyassah daily. The worker survived the fall and has been admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of a hospital.
