Voters Participate In Kuwait 2020 Elections

Voters arrive to cast their votes at polling stations amid health precautions. Authorities are handling the ongoing parliamentary elections with special attention to safety of voters and personnel involved in the shadow of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

This crucial responsibility is shouldered well by personnel of the ministries of interior and health, who are contributing to the organization of the National Assembly polls for the 16th legislative term. These personnel, since ballot stations opened early today, have been seen distributing sterilization materials and handling thermal measurement devices to check temperatures, while ensuring that the arriving voters practice social distancing at specified locations.

Despite challenges and difficulties created by the pandemic crisis, the Kuwaiti authorities have kept their word to hold the elections, as scheduled, amid safe conditions.
