Vaccination Is A Requirement For Appointment In Some Government Agencies

07 July 2021 Kuwait

Obtaining the vaccination to counter the Covid-19 virus has become a condition for appointment in some government agencies.

The Insurance Regulatory Unit of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has stipulated that obtaining at least one dose of approved vaccines should be one of the differentiation aspects upon appointment.

An official source in the Insurance Regulatory Unit confirmed to the daily that the requirement to obtain a vaccination dose coincides with the general goals of the state and its precautionary measures in the face of the Corona pandemic. The condition is a condition of preference and not a condition of progress, as is the case with favoring the married over the single.

The unit also asked applicants to submit a PCR test to maintain a healthy work environment inside the unit’s headquarters during interviews.

Sources expected that other government agencies would tend to add this condition to their appointment, especially those not linked to the Civil Service Bureau.
