Two Policemen Under Investigation For Maltreating A Briton

Two Kuwaiti policemen were arrested for maltreating a Briton in the neighbourhood of Mubarak Al Kabeer, according to Al Rai newspaper.

The two suspects, who were on a routine patrol, filmed themselves as they used bad words while addressing the Briton and posted the video on SnapChat.

Interior Ministry Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Major General Ibrahim Al Tarrah gave orders to arrest them immediately for investigation.

One of the two policemen was heard in the viral video asking the Briton “Where are from ….American”. His colleague also harassed the Briton using obscene words.

A security source said that strict legal action would be taken against them.
