Two People Die In Separate Accidents

A Kuwaiti citizen in his 20s died and another sustained injuries when their vehicle toppled on King Fahad Expressway near Rahal area after hitting a light pole. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the accident, firefighters, securitymen and paramedics were dispatched to the location.

Upon arrival, they rescued the two victims who were trapped inside the vehicle and discovered that one had succumbed to serious injuries and the other was severely injured. The corpse of the deceased was referred to the Forensics Department, and the injured victim was referred to the nearest hospital for treatment.

A case has been registered. Also, the remains of an unidentified Egyptian, who died following a car accident opposite Mina Abdullah, have been referred to Forensics, reports Al- Rai daily.

According to security sources when police and paramedics reached the spot of the accident, the man had succumbed to his injuries. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
