The Noon Work Team Visits Abdullah Al-mubarak
In a statement to Al-Anbaa, Hamad Al-Makhial, head of the noon work ban team and head of the occupational safety department, said more than 300 companies were visited and warnings were issued to avoid violating the law, and 48 hours later the violating sites were visited again to make sure they complied.
As a result of their commitment, the companies are not liable for any legal consequences, but if they continue to violate the law, they may be fined between 100 and 200 dinars per worker, as well as being referred to the legal affairs department and placed on a 'block'.
After the re-inspection, Al-Makhial noted that 99% of the companies adhered to the decision, indicating their concern for their employees' safety, noting that the violation occurs under Resolution 535/2015, which prohibits business owners from forcing their employees to work from 11 to 4 pm under direct sunlight in the summer from June to August.
