Temperature Soars Up To 51 Degrees Celsius In Kuwait
Hot weather will prevail during the weekend in Kuwait with temperatures soaring up to around 51 degrees Celsius, said Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, weather forecaster at Kuwait Meteorological Center, Thursday.
Speaking to KUNA, Al-Qarawi said that Thursday’s highest temperature reached around 50 degree Celsius with the lowest being around 35 degrees. Wind speed was at 20-50 kilometers per hour (kph), causing dust, said Al-Qarawi.
Status of the sea moderate to rough during the day and evening with waves reaching 3-6 feet. Friday’s weather will be very hot with moderate to fresh northwesterly wind at speed of 20-40 kph during the day, the same case during the evening with light to moderate northwesterly wind with speed of 12- 32 kph, said Al-Qarawi, adding that the minimum and maximum temperatures will be at 32 to 49 degrees Celsius respectively.
Al-Qarawi said that Saturday’s minimum and maximum temperatures would be at 31 to 49 degrees Celsius respectively. Weather will be hot with wind speed of 6-22 kph. The status of the sea will be normal with waves reaching 1 to 2 feet.
