Swine Flu Virus Cases Have Reported From Al-sabah, Mubarak Al-kabir And Farwaniya Hospitals
A number of cases of swine flu virus cases have been reported from the Al-Sabah, Mubarak Al-Kabir and Farwaniya hospitals, reports Al-Anba daily quoting knowledgeable sources.
The sources pointed out the infected people are from different age groups, the youngest is a 6 months old child.
The sources added the ministry has taken the necessary precautions, but the mother of the toddler said he may have been infected at the nursery where he spends hours while the parents are at work.
;Jahra Hospital has taken precautionary and remedial measures to combat winter flu and it has not recorded any epidemic over the last months, reports Al-Anba daily quoting Director of the hospital Dr Ali Al-Mutairi.
In his interview with the daily recently, Al-Mutairi announced the application of a new system to set appointments electronically; hence, the activation of e-files in wards and outpatient clinics. He added the number of people using medical services at the hospital has decreased by 15.4 percent since the implementation of the Health Ministry’s decision to increase fees for medical services offered to expatriates
