State Audit Bureau Nods Car Rental Tender
The State Audit Bureau has recently approved a tender worth 1.2 million dinars for renting cars for the Ministry of Communications for two years, reports Al- Qabas daily quoting reliable sources.
The same sources said that the Bureau set a condition that the ministry of communication shall abide by the circular of the Ministry of Finance on disbursement until the issuance of the law linking the budget of ministries and government departments and laws linking the budgets of the bodies attached to the fiscal year 2019-2020, in addition to the initial insurance provided by the successful bidder until the date of contracting.
On the other hand, the ministry announced the disbursement of the second and final installment of the excellent work reward for 2,020 employees, and put the value at 1.553 million dinars.
Meanwhile, the ministry held a meeting with representatives of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) in the presence of the Undersecretary Kholoud Al-Shehab, Dean of the Faculty of Technological Studies Dr Abdullah Al Mazrouei.
During the meeting it was agreed on the need to sign a protocol of cooperation between the two sides and considered it as a starting point towards the consolidation of relations, in order to meet the need of the transport sector now and in future.
The two sides agreed to rehabilitate students at a high level of practical and scientific efficiency at the academic and training levels, and to improve and diversify the educational outputs, in line with the vision of future transportation, as well as coordination on the addition of some specialized materials to the curriculum and the preparation of joint training programs to address labor market imbalances and lack of required specialties
