Sme Index Adds Al-tijaria, Jazeera Airways

In its semi-annual review of the Kuwait Stock Exchange, Morgan Stanley has included Gulf Bank in the MSCI Emerging Markets Index.

Several companies in the Morgan Stanley index of small and medium-sized companies also appeared in the semi-annual review, according to a local Arabic-language newspaper. These included the National Commercial Bank, Real Estate, Jazeera Airways, and National Investments.

Kuwaiti shares listed on the index were not delisted during the review. During the same time, the corporation also cancelled the shares of Abdullah Al-Othaim Markets and the Tawuniya Insurance Company from the benchmark global "MSCI" index as part of its semi-annual review of the Saudi Stock Exchange.
