Service Bureau: 60% Of Kuwaitis Working In The Government In Teaching, Administrative Support And Engineering
A recent statistic of the Civil Service Commission revealed that Kuwaitis working in teaching, administrative support and engineering positions constitute about 60% of the total national cadres in the government apparatus in its various ministries and authorities, while the rest of the Kuwaiti employees are distributed among other job groups.
According to the statistics , most Kuwaitis working in the government apparatus work in teaching, education and training jobs, with a rate of 22.4% of the total Kuwaiti employees in various government agencies, with 71,688 male and female employees out of a total of 319,189 male and female employees.
Kuwaitis working in administrative support positions ranked second with a rate of 20.3%, with 64 thousand and 999 male and female employees, while Kuwaitis working in engineering jobs ranked third, with a rate of approximately 17%, with 53 thousand and 772 male and female employees.
As for financial, economic and commercial jobs, Kuwaitis ranked fourth with a rate of 9%, with 29,087 male and female employees.

The statistics revealed that the percentage of Kuwaitis working in law, politics and Islamic affairs positions reached 6%, with 18,802 male and female employees, then medical and health services workers at 5.6%, at 17,896 male and female employees, followed by Kuwaiti workers in information systems and technology jobs, at a rate of 5. At the rate of 16,119 male and female employees, then workers in social, educational and sports services jobs, at a rate of 4%, with 13,213 male and female employees.
The percentage of Kuwaitis working in literature, media, arts and public relations jobs was about 3.3%, with 10,534 male and female employees, while the percentage of workers in forensic evidence, prevention and rescue jobs was about 3%, with 9,921 male and female employees, and then workers in service jobs by 2.5% from The total number of Kuwaitis working in the government apparatus, with 7,958 male and female employees.
