Sea Turtle Rescued

A Kuwait environment team in cooperation with the most famous organizations interested in sea turtles in Australia, Canada and South Africa monitored the presence of sea turtles along the coasts of Al-Khairan, Mina Abdullah and Julai’a and rescued a sea turtle, reports Al-Rai daily.

Sea turtles play an important role in the ecological balance because they feed on jellyfish but they also eat plastic which resembles jellyfish and this causes their death. The team calls on sea goers not to dump plastic waste in the sea to help protect the turtles.
