Residency Law Voilators Are Not Registered In The Database Of Paci

Director of Statistics Department at the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) Mohammad Hussain Al-Omar, in response to reports about the existence of about 100,000 individuals who are not registered in the database of PACI, said these people could be violators of residency law.

He affirmed that the data of those residency violators are registered in Ministry of Interior, stressing that PACI dismisses those whose residency ends after a certain period of time. He highlighted the coordination between PACI and Ministry of Interior in this context.

Al-Omar said the Statistics Department supplies the government with the required statistics for preparing plans and executing developmental projects. He revealed that the Statistics Department has a huge database with information about all residents with details of births, deaths, marriages and divorces among others.

Al-Omar indicated that the department recently launched a website through which it offers statistical services to research bodies and scientists as well as decision makers. He affirmed that the Statistics Department is currently the only body that possesses integrated demographic statistics on which the state relies.

Director General of Kuwait Municipality Eng. Ahmed Al-Manfouhi revealed the intention of the municipality to form a center emergency team to follow up the performance of the supervisory system in the municipality, submit relevant reports and receive the complaints of citizens and expatriates.

Al-Manfouhi said the team will be linked to the security systems in the state, adding that the emergency teams distributed in all branches of the governorates will be placed within the organizational structure of the Municipality.
