Principal Receives Two Salaries From Us And Kuwait
Public schools in Baltimore, Maryland, are said to have paid about $118,000 in salaries to a Principal of a school who was neither working in the city’s schools nor did he live in the US, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting a report published by Fox News.
“There is a lot of corruption in public schools in Baltimore. Everyone seems to be ignoring the corruption in the city’s schools,” said an official.
The officials, who asked not to be named for fear of retaliation, said when the city’s school payroll was reviewed, we saw something odd that the school was paying a salary for two principals at the same time.
It turns out that Karl Berry is the current principal. The other who receives the salary is a female manager of a bilingual school in Jahra, Kuwait. After research and scrutiny, the principal left the school in Baltimore in 2016.
In April 2017, she was the principal of a bilingual school in Jahra, but she has been on the payroll of the Baltimore School since then
