Police Taken Into Custody Of Bedoun For Cheating Of Evil Spirits

The Jahra police have taken into custody an unidentified bedoun for cheating people by claiming he has special powers to cast out evil spirits, reports Al-Shahed daily. The daily added, the arrest came after a Kuwaiti complained to the police that the suspect took KD 100 from him and promised to cast out evil spirit from his son who was allegedly possessed according to the bedoun. The Kuwaiti told the police the bedoun conducted several sessions but the condition of his son did not improve. The bedoun has been referred to the concerned authorities. Meanwhile, A Jordanian, whose identity has not been disclosed, has filed a complaint with the Fintas Police Station accusing a citizen and four Syrians of stealing his passport, cash money and camera worth KD 600, reports Al-Anba daily. Police are looking for the suspects.
