Police Arrest Drug Pusher And Addict

In Mahboula, members of the Criminal Investigation Department ambushed a drug dealer and found 11 sachets of shabu on him.

Security authorities acted on confidential information about an Asian involved in drug trafficking, according to the Al-Anba daily.

After the CID sent a secret police agent to buy drugs from the suspect, detectives raided the suspect's hideout and seized the drugs.

He admitted selling drugs to young people during his interrogation. He also gave away the name of his partner, who he said, has already left the country recently.

An expatriate was caught using narcotic drugs and in possession of shabu and drug paraphernalia while passing through a checkpoint set up at Mahboula's entrance. He was referred to the competent authority.
