Pakistani Robbed Of Kd600 By Fake Police
According to a Kuwaiti newspaper, Kuwaiti police are searching for two anonymous men who posed as police personnel and robbed a Pakistani driver of KD600.
According to Al Anba, the victim, a crane driver, informed police of the car used by the two men in fleecing him of his money, according to the governorate of Al Jahra in Kuwait's north-west. It is believed that the car was stolen.
The 41-year-old expatriate was driving the crane when two men in their 20s stopped him and said they were plainclothes police.
They were both dressed in Kuwaiti traditional outfits, while the second wore sportswear. They requested checking the expatriate’s ID card and his wallet. According to the source, they seized his wallet with the KD600 inside and fled.
