Officer Stabbed By A Drug Addict

An officer was stabbed by a drug addict who was driving a stolen vehicle, during the routine patrol in Salmiya area a suspected vehicle driver was asked to stop but he refused and ran away. The accused was pursued and forced to stop. On checking the past records it was found that he was a Kuwaiti citizen with a past criminal record. On checking the stolen car narcotic substances were found. He was referred to the authorities while the officer was taken to the hospital.
