National Campaign ‘Your Fear Is Their Joy’ Launched To Clear Debts
Sheikh Firas Saud Abdullah Al Malek Al Sabah, the Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Child Affairs, has announced the commencement of the national campaign 'Your Fear is Their Joy' aimed at clearing the debts of debtors. This initiative aligns with Kuwait's humanitarian values, guided by the directives of the political leadership and the Council of Ministers emphasizing the importance of localizing charitable efforts.
In a televised speech on Kuwait TV, Sheikh Firas Al-Sabah stated, "In this blessed month of Ramadan, the month of goodness and giving, we are pleased to launch the national campaign for the second consecutive year to pay off the debts of debtors."
The campaign is set to kick off on Monday, Ramadan 15, in collaboration with various government entities including the Ministry of Information, the Ministry of Justice, and religious authorities, as well as cooperative societies and charitable organizations.
This initiative aims to showcase Kuwait's spirit of philanthropy by assisting those in need, relieving them of debt-related burdens, and bringing joy to numerous families during Ramadan.
The minister highlighted the significant merit in relieving the distress of debtors and encouraged the donation of zakat funds for this purpose, emphasizing its impact on deserving groups.
Sheikh Firas urged participation from individuals, businesses, and organizations alike, emphasizing the opportunity to offer hope and a fresh start to those burdened by debt, promising abundant blessings in this sacred month.
