Mum Was Killed While Praying By A Lebanese Man

Local media reported a young Lebanese killed his mother as she prayed in a Beirut suburb.

In their house in Beirut's southern Chyah suburb, Al Jadeed TV reported that the man stabbed his mother in the neck and head with a knife. Al Jadeed TV reports that the 29-year-old man seems to suffer from mental illness.

Apparently, the man stabbed the woman seven times while she was offering the noon prayer (Dhur) and fled afterward.

After being overpowered by locals, police arrested the suspect.

In an online video, he was seen muttering incomprehensibly after being arrested.
